Thanks To You We Surpassed Our
Matching Gift Campaign Goal!
110k Matching Gift Campaign
| | |
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we are thrilled to share that our Matching Gift Campaign surpassed its goal, raising a remarkable $233,300!
This achievement reflects the collective commitment of our donors, partners, and supporters who believe deeply in the importance of investing in children, families, youth, and seniors in Little Burgundy. Every gift — large and small — helped make this success possible and will have a lasting impact across our programs.
From all of us at Tyndale, thank you for helping us go beyond our goal and for being such an essential part of our community.

Expanding Employment Support at Tyndale
Strengthening Pathways to Employment
| | | | |
With support from the Community Opportunity Fund offered by the Youth Employment Services Foundation, Tyndale is expanding its employment services to better support English-speaking job seekers in Little Burgundy and neighbouring communities.
This initiative strengthens access to individualized job-search support, one-on-one coaching, digital tools, and referrals to community resources.
| | |
The expanded services respond to growing needs among job seekers facing barriers such as language challenges, limited access to training, and the need for ongoing guidance. By offering flexible, trauma-informed support and a welcoming first point of contact, Tyndale continues to help community members navigate and sustain their path toward employment.
As part of this expansion, we are currently looking to fill the position of Employment Services Counsellor. If you are interested in this opportunity, or know someone who might be, we invite you to learn more.

Pre-Employment Program Highlights
Building Confidence for the Job Market
| | |
On December 4th, participants in our Pre-Employment Program (PPE) put their skills to the test during our bi-annual Speed Interviewing Event. Participants completed 10 rounds of mock interviews with human resources professionals from a variety of industries, gaining valuable experience, constructive feedback, and increased confidence in navigating in-person interviews.
This event is made possible thanks to the leadership of Samantha Bateman, Director of Talent Acquisition at Integria Consulting, and the generous volunteers who dedicate their time and expertise to supporting our participants.

Creating a Welcoming Counselling Space
Help us furnish our new support room
| | |
We’ve recently transformed one of our offices into a dedicated counselling room, where our Youth Mental Health Worker and Family Support Worker meet one-on-one with participants and families. Our goal is to create a calm, comfortable, and welcoming space where participants and families feel safe sharing personal experiences.
To help furnish and equip the room, we’ve created a wish list of needed items.
If you’d like to contribute by donating an item, please email Tina at tinanaim@tyndalestgeorges.com to let us know what you’d like to provide and to coordinate delivery details and timing.
Thank you for helping us create a space that supports care and meaningful connection.
