Rebuilding lives, one extraordinary woman at a time

Laying the Foundation for Her Next Chapter

"C." graduated from our program after doing the steady, determined work of building stability for herself and her family. While at Jubilee, she maintained employment and stayed committed to her parenting plan, taking real steps toward reunification with her children.

She recently moved into a long-term supportive program in Kitsap County to continue working toward her goals while being closer to her family. C. also saved $2,000 through our Matched Savings Program and had it matched dollar for dollar, leaving with $4,000 in savings and a strong foundation for what comes next!

Volunteer Spotlight: Rosemary Dunigan

Today we celebrate the incredible leadership and service of Rosemary Dunigan, who has completed her term as Jubilee Women’s Center’s Board Chair after three impactful years—and has served on our board since 2020.

Rosemary's connection to Jubilee runs deep. As the daughter of two former Jubilee board members, Dick and Mary Beth Gemperle, Rosemary continued her family's beautiful legacy of service. She stepped into her role during an extraordinary moment in our history, helping guide the organization through the COVID‑19 pandemic, an executive leadership transition, and countless other challenges and opportunities along the way.

Our current Board Chair, Pamela Rogers-Kinkead, who served beside Rosemary, shared this reflection:

“Rosemary has led this Board with integrity and an unwavering belief in the people and purpose of this organization. During her tenure as President, she helped strengthen our organization and guided us through both opportunities and challenges with steadiness and thoughtfulness. On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank her for her commitment to Jubilee and the genuine care she has shown in her years as President.”

We are deeply grateful to Rosemary for her dedication to Jubilee’s mission and for giving so generously of her time, talent, and treasure. Her leadership has made a lasting impact, and we are stronger because of her. 💛

Please join us in thanking Rosemary for her extraordinary service!

Corporate Spotlight: Stanley 1913

We are deeply grateful to Stanley and the Stanley 1913 StrongHer Women’s Ambassador Group for their generous support of Jubilee through both a meaningful year‑end financial gift and the donation of signature Stanley drinkware tumblers.

Because of this generosity, every woman who arrives at Jubilee this year will receive a Stanley tumbler as part of her welcome package. When women come to Jubilee, they are welcomed into their own private room with a freshly made bed and essential hygiene items. These thoughtful details are small but powerful, helping women feel safe, valued, and cared for from the very beginning of their journey with us.

Thank you, Stanley 1913 StrongHer, for investing in dignity, comfort, and new beginnings for the women we serve.

In addition to the standard Seattle winter needs, we are looking for toiletries - full-sized and unopened - including toothbrushes, toothpaste and deodorant.

Our Amazon wishlist has been updated to reflect some needs to ensure the women of Jubilee are taken care of inside and outside of the home.

Every item you give brings comfort, dignity, and joy to someone starting a new chapter.

Save the date for our third annual Jubilee Jazz Night!
