DPR's Newsletter for Listeners and Partners
From the Desk of the General Manager
Holiday greetings from Delmarva Public Radio!

We here at DPR wish each and every one of our listeners and supporters a happy holiday season…a Merry Christmas, a Happy Chanukah, a Happy Kwanzaa…whatever you choose to celebrate, DPR celebrates with you.

Your support of DPR throughout the year – and most notably during our recent fall fundraiser, Giving Tuesday event, and the current Come Home to Delmarva end-of-year Giving drive – has not only kept quality public radio programming on WSDL 89.5 and WSDL 90.7, it’s also made a bold statement that you firmly believe in DPR’s mission. For all that, we wish to express our gratitude. Without you, DPR is nothing.

Last, but certainly not least, we have some changes to announce! We are very pleased to welcome aboard to new staff-members to DPR.

Anne Dudley – DPR’s new Development Director – joins us from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Anne will oversee all outreach and advancement efforts for DPR, and have a significant impact on our growing presence in the many social media realms. She is also active with the Salisbury Rollergirls roller derby team…which leads me to believe I will probably be avoiding any disagreements with her. Contact Anne at  acdudley@salisbury.edu or 410-543-6241.

Chelsea Boog – our new Membership Coordinator – is your first point of contact for listener support. She brings to DPR Membership Office extensive database management, customer service, and outreach skills. Prior to joining “Team DPR,” Chelsea worked with the Girls Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay. Could cookies soon be a featured DPR thank you gift? Stay tuned. Chelsea is also a Johnson & Wales-educated pastry chef and has found a welcoming home here, where we are all foodies. Contact Chelsea at crboog@salisbury.edu or 410-543-6220.

Why, there’re just all kinds of holiday happenings here at Delmarva Public Radio! We hope you’ll keep WSCL and WSDL tuned in over the holidays and remember…when it gets cold, just curl up around your radio.

Enjoy your holidays and thank you for your ongoing support of Delmarva Public Radio.  See you – on the radio – next year!
