New Registration Software Coming To Andover Youth Services & Recreation!

AYS and Recreation are switching registration software to MyRec. Please create a new account for you and your family.

Our winter program registration goes live, Monday, December 12th @ 8am on MyRec.

We will be requiring preregistration for all programs and events, including our shuttle services. This is to help us provide adequate staffing and maintaining safety for participants and staff.

*December shuttle and block party registration will be on RecDesk until January 2023.*

Come check out our Holiday Happenings event this Friday, December 9th. It will take place downtown, at the Cormier Youth Center and around Town.

We will be playing a movie, games, inflatibles, Tanglewood Marionette shows, and finishing it off with fireworks!

Upcoming Facility Closure Dates

Friday, December 9th, we will not be holding Block Party to set up for Holiday Happenings in the evening!

In observance of Christmas, all Town facilities will be closed on Monday, December 26th.

In observance of New Years, all Town facilities will be closed on Monday, January 2nd.

*We follow Town Office closures for holidays as well as couple one off dates throughout the year. For the Town calendar, please check the Town webpage.*

NEW AYS T-SHIRT FOR SALE!

We are excited to introduce our new Andover Youth Services t-shirts that will be on sale at our concession stand!

Pick one up and show it off to your friends. T-shirts will be sold for $10 until the end of the year and $15 after the New Year!

Memberships

School year memberships still available! With it you get free access to daily block party Monday - Friday from 3-6 pm, discounted field trips and classes, free shuttles and more! Only $250.00 from now until June 2023.

*Scholarships and payment plans available, too!*

SHUTTLES

Reminder that shuttles need to be registered for online. There are stops at Wood Hill and West Middle on weekdays after school to bring your kids to AYS. This service is FREE for members and $5.00 for non members.

Please note this is a separate registration from Block Party registration. Children MUST be pre registered by 1 pm on the day of service due to the limited amount of seating.

Building Monitors

Building Monitors are the welcoming face at AYS for youth arriving at the center for activities and programs and will assist staff with getting youth settled in for an afternoon of fun and camaraderie with their peers and through engaging programming.

Primary responsibilities include phone coverage, greeting youth coming to AYS, assisting with technology needs (i.e., program check in and online registration for programs), answering questions, and directing youth to their desired activity or program.

Program Directors

Do you have a skill or talent you would like to teach to young people ages 12-17? Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of Andover’s youth? If so, Andover Youth Services is looking for instructors to lead a variety of programs geared toward youth development and enrichment.
