Pruning Time
Our orchard teams are braving the frigid cold this month, and, one by one, pruning acres of Asian Pear trees by hand! Pruning is an essential part of the annual growing cycle at Subarashii Kudamono.

Removing bushy overgrowth from the past season strengthens the remaining branches and encourages healthy growth and fruit production for the season ahead. The result is an orchard of neatly trimmed trees, ready to begin forming buds as Winter fades and Spring starts to warm the region...and some weary, but satisfied, team members!
