🔬🖌️ Get ready to explore, create, and innovate at our Winter S.T.E.A.M. Camp being held 9 a.m. to noon, December 30 through January 3 (class does not meet January 1). Dive into the amazing world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through hands-on, fun-filled activities.

Grinchmas on the Green

🎄✨ Celebrate the season with holiday magic at the annual Grinchmas on the Green November 30 ✨🎄

📅 Schedule of Events (All times approximate):

🍪 4:30 PM – Enjoy free hot cocoa & cookies under the pavilion (while supplies last)

🚒 5:00 PM – Santa and the Grinch arrive, thanks to the Plainfield Fire Protection District

🎄 5:15 PM – Watch Santa and the Grinch light up the giant Village Green Christmas tree

📸 5:30 PM – Snap photos with Santa and the Grinch in Whoville (tennis court)

Black Friday Sweet Deal

The Prairie Activity & Recreation Center is the place to be on Black Friday Weekend as the absolute best membership deal of the year will be available! A membership to the Prairie Fit Fitness Center (which includes use of fitness center, indoor track and gymnasium) will be only $17/month EFT. First year only. One-year commitment.

The deal is for NEW MEMBERS ONLY. Memberships must be purchased in person at the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center (PARC), 24550 W. Renwick Road in Plainfield November 29-December 1.

Thanksgiving Break Basketball Camp

🏀 Ready to elevate your game? Join Power Through Basketball's (PTB) Two-Day Basketball Camp for ages 5-14 on Monday and Tuesday, November 25-26 at the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center! 💪 PTB coaches bring a high-level practice environment inspired by successful programs, where players are held accountable and pushed to meet their full potential. Expect challenging drills, skill-building, and leadership development that takes your game to the next level!

Journey to the North Pole

Bundle up for a wagon ride to the North Pole to visit Santa Friday or Saturday, December 13-14! While you are waiting for your journey to begin, enjoy hot chocolate and cookies. Once your wagon has reached the North Pole, the children have the opportunity to visit with Santa and take photos.

Winter Indoor Soccer at Aux Sable

Registration is now open for the winter indoor soccer/futsal league running January 18 through March 8 at Aux Sable Middle School, 2001 Wildspring Parkway in Joliet. This league for grades K-5 teaches players the rules of the game, develops skills, teaches teamwork and good sportsmanship, and provides an opportunity for fun.
