ROUTE A TRASH PICKUP CANCELLED

Due to the impending snow storm trash pick-up on Route A (north of rail road) is cancelled for Monday, Feb 1st. This trash will be picked up Thursday, Feb 4th the next scheduled pick up for Route A.
VACCINE MEGA-SITES CLOSED

All six COVID-19 vaccine Mega-Site locations will be CLOSED tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 1 due to the storm.

NJ TRANSIT SUSPENDS SERVICE

All NJ TRANSIT buses, rail (except the Atlantic City Rail Line), light rail and Access Link service will be temporarily suspended systemwide for the entire service day on Monday, February 1st due to the significant expected impacts of the snow storm.
STORM PREPARATION

  • Never use a portable generator inside the house or a closed garage in the event of a power outage.

  • Please remember to clear a 3 foot perimeter around fire hydrants near your home.

  • Please remove all cars from roadway: no overnight parking permitted.

  • Please clear all sidewalks in front of your home.

  • Keep electronic devices such as cell phones, laptops and tablet computers fully charged to be ready for any emergencies.

  • Keep a flashlight, portable radio and extra batteries handy in the event a power interruption occurs. Tune to a local station for current storm information.

  • Chatham Schools has a Snow Day today, with probable All-Virtual Instruction for Tuesday Feb. 2.
