New Board Committee Structure
The HPC's Board is now organized into two policy committees focused on  Market Oversight and Transparency (MOAT) and  Care Delivery Transformation (CDT). The focus areas of the new committees align with the policy priorities of the HPC as defined in its enabling legislation, Chapter 224 of the Acts of 2012, and through an internal strategic planning process. Both have monitoring and operational responsibilities.

The MOAT and CDT committees will meet for the first time this  Wednesday, February 14  at 50 Milk Street. Unless otherwise noted, MOAT meets at 9:30 AM and CDT meets at 11:00 AM.

More information on the HPC's new policy committees, including focus areas and commissioner appointments for each committee, can be found here.
HPC Special Event
This May, the HPC will host a special event to examine how partnerships between health care providers and community stakeholders work to address health-related social needs. This policy area has been a focus of the HPC's investments, research, and policy work. The event will feature expert speakers and panels to discuss practical and policy approaches for supporting such partnerships. Please mark your calendars, and stay tuned for more information, including registration instructions and agenda details. We hope to see you there!
