This winter Allison traded fuzzy hats and gloves for sunglasses and sandals and she hit the road for Wellington, Florida! While she only stayed there through January, she had an amazing time working on both her show jumping and dressage. There were many special moments including this one from The Business Ben Partnership's Business Ben. Allison reports he was a fire breathing dragon for his show jumping so it was really nice to end the month with a very civilized and clear round at WEF in the 1.25m. She wants to give a huge thanks to Katie Prudent and her fantastic team, Henri, Paula, and Hunter who all helped a huge amount.
While Florida was great, she was excited to get back to Aiken and kick off the 2019 season. Allison and her team headed to the Pine Top Horse Trials and Allison brought home ribbons with each ride! While Katie Lichten's Saphire Blue B and the Business Ben Partnership's Business Ben took home top-six finishes in the Intermediate, the real star was Nancy Winter's Crystal Crescent Moon as he took home the first blue ribbon of the season in the Preliminary/Training division. Three for three is not a bad way to kick off the year! Thank you all for your support!
