January 23, 2026

To the Pace Community:

As we prepare for the start of the Spring 2026 semester, the University is actively monitoring the potential for a winter storm that may bring significant snowfall on Sunday, January 25, and Monday, January 26.

While the forecast remains uncertain, we want to assure you that Pace is closely tracking conditions and coordinating with local and regional partners. The safety of our community is always our top priority, and we will share updates as more information becomes available.

If any schedule changes, delays, or cancellations become necessary, they will be communicated through the Pace Alert emergency notification system. Students, faculty, and staff are automatically enrolled to receive Pace Alerts via email and text message. We encourage you to take a moment to confirm that your mobile number is up to date at alert.pace.edu.

Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we continue to monitor the situation. We look forward to the start of the semester and will keep you informed of decisions as they are made.

Sincerely,

Brian Anderson, MPH, CSP

AVP of Safety and Emergency Management
