WINTER WEATHER WATCH CONTINUES

So much for El Nino meaning a warm winter with no snow. Late fall was cold with a few icy mornings then December was quite warm. January saw the cold snap that gave Seattle a little bit of snow but paralyzed Portland.  The past month has been cooler than normal with some light snow in a few parts and now we are close to low level snow for this week low level snow for the next week. Winter ain’t over yet!

We are not expecting a major event but will be deploying tonight to spread deicer and are standing ready if snow falls and sticks. And its not to late for winter weather. Remember February 2019 when Seattle was buried with snow ? That was our last El Nino winter and we received 21” of snow. And last February 22, Portland was buried with a  snowstorm that was not even predicted?

Regardless of the outcome, we will be prepared and keep you informed of our plan as the weather develops. https://www.pacscape.com/services/snow-ice.php
