Marchant Manor Cheeses
Cow Blue and Guernsey Triple Cremes
We are very fortunate to have amazing artisan cheeses made right here! One in particular is difficult for us to sell in the summer at the back of the truck due to it's delicate nature and perishability. Those are the fresh cheeses of Marchant Manor.
Kandice's cheeses are very special to us as they are made with our A2 Guernsey Milk. The golden color shines thru, particularly in the bloomy rinds.
This week, we have 4 offerings ready amaze you:
Brighton Blue - a creamy blue cheese, aged 60 days and perfectly balanced between creamy and sharp. Great on a burger, as a snack, or crumbled over a salad.
Elmstead Ash - her original bloomy rind cheese made as a "triple creme," meaning that the milk is enhanced with the cream of two additional milkings. This decadent cheese practically melts at room temperature. It features a traditional dusting of ash, which helps in dropping the pH and adding a unique tang to the product.
Henley - a small, barrel shaped cow milk triple creme featuring the unique "geotrichium" enzyme that produces the unique brain-like waves on the surface.
Peppercorn Lapworth - a traditional whole milk camembert style made with a layer of black peppercorns for a slight bite.
