Regular exercise can help you feel better, boost your energy & add years to your life.Virginia Hospital Center offers a variety of classes to meet your needs -- whether you are preparing for childbirth, looking for gentle options, or seeking a challenge.

New for 2019: Boost Your Balance and Mindful Eating.

TAI CHI AT VHC

Tai Chi is a lifelong exercise that gently work muscles, improves balance and concentration. Virginia Hospital Center classes follow the 37-posture Yang style, and are led by Tai Chi masters Jeff Robbins and Stephen Goodson.

DIABETES PREVENTION PROGRAM (DPP)

Take charge of your health—lose

weight & get active to help prevent Type 2 Diabetes

The DPP is a year-long group class focusing on weight loss through better nutritional choices & increased physical activity.

Classes meet on Wednesdays, beginning January 16 and are led by a certified Lifestyle Coach.

New for 2019 : DPP will be a covered benefit under Medicare, and is FREE for all Medicare enrollees.

HEALTHY AGING LECTURE

SPECIAL EVENT - "WHITE HOT" Thurs, Jan. 17

Join the Senior Health Department for an exciting night for a good cause! "White Hot" raises money for the Lifeline Assistance Fund.
