Good Afternoon,

It's hard to believe that 2022 is coming to an end. This week we are excited to feature some traditional new year's foods - pork & kraut - as well as some local wines in partnership with OCP.

Because of the wine retail, the orders for wine must go thru a different order form and paid directly to OCP. See below for descriptions of what we are featuring.

A couple holiday week reminders:
  • We will deliver on Saturday, New Year's Eve.
  • OCP is closing at 3 PM on Saturday. Therefore, the last stop of the week is OCP Saturday - 10 AM to 3 PM.
  • No time change for Rocky River & Mentor -- 9 AM to 11 AM.
This Week's Promotions
Goat Feta. Sale: $6. We've worked with our dairy partner for a while to perfect this cheese. 100% goat milk in a 3% salt brine makes it tender yet still crumble. Great on salads, pizza, or even tossed into mac and cheese!

Fork Yeah Charred Chili Verde Hot Sauce. Sale- $12
We love it when employees come to us with product ideas. In this case, Chef Jeff at OCP loves making hot sauce and even came up with his own branding for it - Fork Yeah!

Jeff starts by flame charring his peppers before starting his ferment. He then blends the sauce, acidifies it with cider vinegar, and jars it. This smoky hot sauce is thick, smooth, and packs a medium-hot punch. Shake a little on about anything for a kick of flavor.

Smoked Kielbasa. Sale $9.00. If the pork roast isn't enough for your New Year's pork fix, try adding some smoked kielbasa. 1.2# per package, 4 links.
Ohio Wine Bundles
I enjoy talking shop with the vintners we represent at OCP. The process for making wine parallels that of farming - because it starts on a farm.

The wines we represent are all estate grown - meaning the grapes are grown on the vineyard where the wine is produced. This sounds obvious, but it's actually a unique model. Today, many small wineries simply buy in juice from larger vineyards.

Check out our fun bundles we created for this week. The bundles are at 15% off retail. Each bundle represents 3 different categories of wine. Sticking with holiday colors, we are calling them the red, green, and gold categories.

Red = old world vinifera varietals grown in Ohio. This includes pinot grigio, cab franc, and many more.

Green = refreshing, chillable wines, including hard ciders, rose, and bubbles.

Gold = French-American hybrids. Grape varieties bread in America to match our growing conditions, matching hardy native rootstock to old world flavors

No substitutes in the bundles.

Individual Wines & Ciders - no need to bundle up. You can buy any bottle you like a la carte. The bundles are to encourage trying new flavors and saving money. Ciders from Bent Ladder + a variety of wines from Bent Ladder, Debonne, South River & M Cellars.
