Winter Word of Mouth
News and Updates from the WCCDC
Support our 2019 Year-End Campaign
We have done a lot of celebrating over the last year: our 10th Anniversary, opening a second clinic, expanded regional work, and record patient reach.

All that said, Wisconsin remains one of the worst states in the country for dental care access for low-income children and 140,000 in our area suffer from this very issue.

Together, we work every day to solve this. The mouth is the gateway to overall health and well-being and we believe that dental care is not a luxury, especially for our children. But--truthfully--we can’t do it alone.

We humbly request your support during our
year-end campaign, seeking to raise
$50,000 for our patients in need.
Laugh for a Smile 2019
A huge THANK YOU to all those that participated in this year's signature fundraising event, Laugh for a Smile .

We reached a record achievement, raising $120,000 for patients turning to the WCCDC for life-changing dental care.

Highlights of this year's event included a ComedySportz show, photos with our very own Tooth Fairy, delicious food, raffle items, and lots of laughs.

Check out the full list of generous event sponsors and some event photos here .
Augie's Story
At Laugh for a Smile , we shared the powerful story of Augie, a current WCCDC patient. Augie's story illuminates the impact of dollars given in support of the WCCDC mission. Check out Augie's story here .

2019 Impact
As we close another year, we are grateful to share a few key milestones made possible by those who invest generously in our mission:

  • Our new Menomonee Falls clinic completed its first full-year, thanks in large part to the partnership and investment of Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin
  • 800 new patients found dental care services thanks to this clinic (few of these patients had ever received dental care previously)
  • Our Waukesha clinic served as the dental home to more than 3000 patients
  • The WCCDC expanded reach to children throughout the four-county Greater Milwaukee area

We look ahead to 2020 with gratitude to our partners and donors, who make this incredible work possible.
From all your friends at the WCCDC, we wish you a
safe and happy holiday season and a blessed new year!
