Gigi's House Double Celebration
HomeAid Atlanta had two reasons to celebrate on November 18 in Clayton County. HomeAid supporters attended a ribbon cutting ceremony and groundbreaking at Gigi’s House, which cares for girls ages 13-19 who are victims of sex trafficking, providing a safe home in a faith-based, loving environment.
150 Volunteers Join Care Day
On November 11, BOMA Georgia (Building Owners and Managers Association of Georgia) and national home builder Lennar participated in an extensive HomeAid Care Day at Calvary Refuge Center in Forest Park.

Taylor Morrison Builds at NGAH
Taylor Morrison Atlanta completed a bathroom renovation at North Georgia Angel House. Led by Taylor Morrison's Eric Wacaster, this much-needed project turned out beautifully. We celebrated the completion of this project on Thursday, November 3, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Thanks For Giving Drive
Together with several organizations and many more generous donors, HomeAid Atlanta helped provide needed food items to make this Thanksgiving happier for people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.

Our fundraising drive with the Young Professionals Group of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association brought in $1,400, which provided nourishing Thanksgiving meals to women in recovery at Breakthru House. (left photo, below)

Artisan Built Communities donated a carload full of canned and packaged food items for our friends at Making A Way Housing. (center photo, below)

We partnered with David Weekley Homes for their Giving Thanks, Giving Back Thanksgiving Drive to provide turkeys and more for organizations helping people in need. David Weekley Homes' drive brought in 182 turkeys, and close to 3,000 canned/packaged food items! Food was distributed to HomeAid service provider partners Crossroads Community Ministries & Cherokee County Homeless Veterans Program, as well as the Vine City Civic Association. (right photo, below)
