Here we are, quickly approaching the end of 2020. While some may feel it can't come soon enough, it is also a good time for reflecting, regrouping and planning for the New Year. What were some of your highlights of the year? Special memories? Accomplishments? The Si View team is grateful for the strong community support. Your participation in the programs and events that we have been able to host this year. Your support at the ballot box. Your active voice in planning for future recreation facilities and parks. Thank you for your support - together we are stronger and can accomplish amazing things!

This month we are asking residents about your readiness to return to aquatic programming. Our team has been hard at work in developing safety plans for limited opening of Si View Pool. We need your help in determining what programs and activities are most needed at this time. Please take our survey by December 20th.

Over the next several months, we'll ask you to engage in a planning process for our Recreation Program Plan to define strategies, services, and direction for public recreation programming to meet the needs of our growing community and advance the District’s mission. Visit our website for more information about this project.

While many of our in-person programs are currently paused, our parks and trails are open! Staying physically active is one of the best ways to keep your mind and body healthy. Visiting our local parks, trails, and open spaces is a great way to relieve stress, get some fresh air, and stay active. We encourage you to recreate responsibly and help minimize the spread of COVID-19 by practicing social distancing, wearing a mask, and taking everyday steps to wash hands often and cover coughs and sneezes.

Opt outside and explore your local parks!

South Fork Landing Disc Golf News
It happens, your disc lands in the pond or hidden behind trees and someone else finds it later. In order to return recovered discs to their owners, please be sure to label your equipment with contact information. We now have a lockbox at the disc golf course so players can securely return lost items. The lock box is located near the first tee pad at the info kiosk. Found items should be placed in the lockbox. Si View staff checks contents weekly and contacts owners, if possible. Recovered discs will be available for pick up at the SFL General Store.
Reminder: it is helpful to have contact information on your equipment! Questions? Contact us at 425-831-1900.
Si View Pool Re-Opening Survey
We would like to hear from you! Si View Pool is currently closed due to COVID-19. Our team has been hard at work in planning for re-opening of the facility. Some of the challenges associated with re-opening include the small size of the pool, particularly the locker room areas, need to develop new safety protocols for water rescues, and balancing a schedule that provides a range of services and is still sustainable. We are now working on this final piece – developing a schedule that serves our community’s needs today. A community survey will help us develop a modified schedule. Whether you are a frequent aquatics programs participant or new to our community, please take a moment to let us know what services you are ready to use at this time, and what days/times would work best. Survey is open December 1-20.  Click here for the Si View Pool and survey info.
Winter Registration
Registration for most winter season programs will open Friday December 18. Given the changing landscape for recreation activity restrictions, we have a quick link on our website for any program modifications, schedule changes, or cancellations. This is the best place to check latest program status information.

All programs in operation have detailed safety plans in place following the latest available guidelines and best practices for both participants and staff. Participants are kept informed of any changes and updates throughout the season. Community response to programs has been positive: "Thank you so much! Another great class and immeasurably valuable during this difficult time for the kids. We really appreciate everyone at Si View creating these opportunities under such stress and changing conditions." Learn more about our safety plans here.

Registration is available online 24/7. We can assist you by phone at (425) 831-1900 during normal business hours of 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. If you'd like to register in-person, please contact us to schedule an appointment.

We encourage you to register with confidence for programs you are interested in. Our flexible refund policy has been extended through the full 2021 winter session.
