The Last Two Weeks at Tailwheel Town

A couple of weeks ago I put out the word that I was looking for some old brake parts to use as a training aid.  Well, Steve Pankonin, of Steve's Aircraft, came through so the high schoolers will soon have a working brake system so they can see how they work.  Thanks, Steve!!

I've been holed up in the Squirrelwerks for the last couple of weeks, mainly working on the new PA12.  It's gonna be nice, if I ever get it done!  Many thanks to Barry Foote, who is doing a nice job on the new avionics.

Make sure you check out the home page on the Tailwheelersjournal.com website.  There is fascinating news about the LadiesLoveTaidraggers scholarship program, which I am really excited about.

New Article on the Site

"If I tole ya once..." is this week's  new article.  Seems like every flight instructor has a few ways to tell if a student is ready to solo.  This is just one....

Older article for your review

https://www.tailwheelersjournal.com/2013/45-too-windy-to-fly/   A little piece about flying in the wind.  It's a bit "wimped out" with some help from some of our attorneys, but I think you'll get the picture!
