Born from your 2021 employee engagement survey feedback coupled with the 2022 work groups, we are expanding our Winter Pay Plan to be our Weather Pay Plan for 2023. Rather than the standard eight weeks during the winter months, employees will have essentially a whole year to use 240, 200, or 56 hours when weather prevents working outside. The total amount of hours available each year and the maximum hours to be used each week will be determined by the tenure of each employee and the amount of work performed in prior years.
Understanding the nature of construction and the weather's ability to dictate when we work, we want you to feel more secure all year long with your pay. We know that this is important for budgeting and daily life expenses. Our intention with this expansion is to increase your compensation and provide more income consistency.
