"Winter"
We end the year in winter with festive and spiritual holidays, then bring in the New Year in winter with equal celebration. Only, to find ourselves in the doldrums of February. Complete with its short days, snow, cold, and dismal grey days. Forcing us to hibernate and hunker down, and to start paying our credit cards for our holiday excesses.
Though, there is an upside to this. I these long dismal days as we hide from the elements. It affords us the time to watch some of our favorite movies and to seek out work of new and independent artists.
