Florida-bred Classic of Course Returns From Saratoga for Proud Man Stakes

Fourth in the $150,000 Tremont at Saratoga last out, Amy E. Dunne and Partick L. Biancone’s Florida-bred Classic of Course returns to the Sunshine State for the $75,000 Proud Man at Gulfstream Park Saturday. The six-furlong Proud Man will feature eight 2-year-olds and a $20,000 Top 3 bonus for Florida-breds presented by the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders’ and Owners’ Association.

Horsewoman, Longtime Chaplaincy President Sharyn Wasiluk Dies

OLDSMAR, FL-Sharyn Wasiluk, a Thoroughbred owner and trainer who served the Tampa Bay Downs backstretch workforce for 22 years as the president of the Race Track Chaplaincy of America's Tampa Bay Downs division, died Saturday following an extended illness. She was 77.
