The Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame announced 2019 Florida Horse of the Year Starship Jubilee will be inducted into the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame on Wed., Aug. 7 at Woodbine Racetrack.

Owned by Ocala residents Tami Bobo, George Isaacs and Julie Davies and a graduate of Davies early training, Catalytic walked the shedrow following a Sunday workout.


"That's the routine we follow after a breeze," trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. said. "He'll be back out tomorrow."


CATCHING FREEDOM


A graduate of Barry Berkelhammer’s early training program at Abracadabra Farm in Ocala, Fla., Catching Freedom returned to the track at 6:45 a.m. for an easy one-mile jog with stablemates Encino and Just a Tab following their respective breezes Sunday.


“All three horses exited their works in good shape,” Cox said. “They’ll gallop the rest of the week and be ready for Saturday.”

FIONA'S MAGIC


A Florida home-bred for Marilyn Campbell's Stonehedge LLC and a graduate of the early training at her Stonehedge Farm South in Williston, Fla., Fiona's Magic galloped a mile and three-eighths and visited the starting gate shortly after 9 a.m. Monday morning under exercise rider Alejandro Mariano.
