Jockey Scott Spieth is approaching a personal milestone of 5,000 Thoroughbred career wins in North America (US and Canada).

Through racing Saturday, April 20, Spieth was at 4,998 wins. He has one scheduled mount at Tampa Bay Downs on Sunday.
