Florida-bred Mystic Lake produced a convincing victory in the $250,000 Misty Bennett Pink Ribbon Stakes at Charles Town Races Friday night, winning her third consecutive stakes victory in front-running fashion.

Kazuo Kato's Jasper Robusto broke promptly from post one to lead throughout to win the US$533,963 BSN Sho Stakes (Listed) at Niigata Racecourse in Japan Saturday night.

Not Surprising Wins the 1995 Forego Handicap (G2) During Champion Sprinter Campaign

AUGUST 23, 1995-Despite both coming into the 1995 Forego Handicap (Grade 2) having won two graded stakes in their last two starts, Robert Van Worp's Florida-bred Not Surprising was let go at odds of 9-2 while Richard E. Dutrow's Lite the Fuse was made the odds-on favorite at 3-5.
