Willow Case Reigns Supreme as Upset Winner of Sharp Susan

A neck winner of her second race at odds of 14-1, Willow Case again prevailed with long odds with a three-length score at 25-1 in the $75,000 Sharp Susan at Gulfstream Park Saturday.

Diciassette Takes Circuitous Route to Win Proud Man

Jockey Jonathan Ocasio took Diciassette off the rail coming out of the turn, then jumped to the left of leader Wine Candy passing the eighth pole before shooting to the front using an inside trip to win the $75,000 Proud Man by a length at Gulfstream Park Saturday.

Gabaldon Returns in Grade 3 Mahony at Saratoga Sunday

Gabaldon, a winner of last year's Royal Palm Juvenile in his first career start, will make his much-anticipated return and first start since March in Sunday's $175,000 Mahony (Grade 3) at Saratoga Race Course.

AUGUST 9, 2014-In the first year the Florida Sire Stakes-for eligible runners by registered Florida stallions-was run at Gulfstream Park, Fred Brei's Jacks or Better Farm Inc., swept the first two legs of the series with Leap Year Luck taking the $100,000 Desert Vixen for fillies and Sing Praises winning the $100,000 Dr. Fager for colts and geldings.
