Classic Mo Town Second Woodbine Graded Stakes Winner of the Day for Schickedanz, Drexler and Flores

Florida-bred Classic Mo Town became the second graded stakes winner Saturday at Woodbine for owner Bruno Schickedanz, trainer Martin Drexler and jockey Eswan Flores with an upset victory in the US$129,148 bet365 Eclipse (Grade 2).

Old Chestnut Successful in Third Attempt at Woodbine's Grade 3 Jacques Cartier

Third, just a length-and-a-half behind winner Anarchist in the 2023 Jacques Cartier (Grade 3), and a length-and-a-quarter short when second to Flag of Honour (Aus) in last year's edition, Florida-bred Old Chestnut would not be denied in his third try in the US$113,537 Jacques Cartier going six furlongs on the synthetic main track at Woodbine Saturday.

R Disaster Breaks String of Seconds With Commanding Victory in Rehoboth Stakes

Second in two tries against graded stakes company in her last two races, Florida-bred R Disaster was a convincing winner of the $96,000 Rehoboth at Delaware Park Saturday, winning by eighth-and-a-half lengths with jockey Jorge Ruiz.

Lets Go Koko Proves Her Stakes Credentials With Gate to Wire Powder Break Score

After a miserable trip when seventh in her stakes debut in the $110,000 Pleasant Acres Distaff Turf two starts back, Flying Finish Farm's homebred Lets Go Koko showed returned to top form to earn her first added-money victory in the $75,000 Powder Break at Gulfstream Park Saturday.

MAY 31, 1982-Conquistador Cielo's seven-and-a-quarter-length victory in the 1982 Metropolitan Handicap (Grade 1) was not the first chapter in his championship year story, but it does mark the initial point of national interest.

The FTBOA has consistently defeated attempts to decouple Thoroughbred horse racing, thanks to the advocates, industry leaders, and state officials who have joined our efforts. This is a fight we can win.
