OCALA, FL-A bay filly catalogued as Hip 513 for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company October Yearling Sale was sold post-sale for $275,000 to Tami Bobo.

OCTOBER 11, 2003-John Franks' homebred Chatter Chatter trounced eight other 2-year-old fillies with a 19 ½-length victory in the $400,000 My Dear Girl, the third and final leg of the filly division of the Florida Stallion Stakes at Calder Race Course.

For 2025, there are five director vacancies on the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders' and Owners' Association board of directors to be filled for three-year terms running until October 2028 and one director vacancy to fill a term left vacant by Colin Brennan. This term ends October 2027.
