HALLANDALE BEACH, FL - The $200,000 Susan's Girl and the $200,000 Affirmed have attracted full fields for the second leg of the 2025 Florida Thoroughbred Breeders' and Owners' Association Florida Sire Stakes series at Gulfstream Park on Saturday, Oct. 18.

LEXINGTON, KY-Leon King Stable's Florida-bred Bentornato, a leading contender for the $2 million Cygames Breeders' Cup Sprint (Grade 1) to be run on Nov. 1 at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club and the subject of an exclusive offering at the Keeneland Championship Sale, tuned up for the race Saturday by breezing a half mile in :50.80 under Irad Ortiz Jr.

Record Victory by Chatter Chatter in My Dear Girl Division of Florida Stallion Stakes

OCTOBER 11, 2003-John Franks' homebred Chatter Chatter trounced eight other 2-year-old fillies with a 19 ½-length victory in the $400,000 My Dear Girl, the third and final leg of the filly division of the Florida Stallion Stakes at Calder Race Course.

For 2025, there are five director vacancies on the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders' and Owners' Association board of directors to be filled for three-year terms running until October 2028 and one director vacancy to fill a term left vacant by Colin Brennan. This term ends October 2027.
