James Thares’ Mad House stretched his winning streak to four with a 23-1 upset of the $400,000 Gallant Bob (Grade 2) at Parx Racing Saturday—making it three consecutive years in which a Florida-bred has won the six-furlong test.

Patient Wayne's Law Draws Off to Win Aventura Stakes

Florida-bred Wayne's Law raced several lengths behind the speed dual of Strategic Reserve and 6-5 favorite Road Forever before running by the two front-runners in the stretch to win the $72,750 Aventura by seven-and-quarter lengths at Gulfstream Park Saturday.
