Bentornato Proves Best in Gallant Bob Stakes

Making just his third start of the season, Florida-bred Bentornato found the winner’s circle for the first time as a 3-year-old, taking down top prize in Saturday’s $400,000 Gallant Bob Stakes (Grade 2) at Parx Racing.

Florida-bred Forever Souper Sets Track Record in Winning Fifth Stakes This Year in Presque Isle Mile

Live Oak Plantation homebred Forever Souper continued to build on a spectacular 2024 as the Florida-bred gelding won his fifth stakes this year while setting a track record in the $150,000 Presque Isle Mile at Presque Isle Downs Friday. Sent to the post as the odds-on favorite with jockey Antonio Gallardo, Forever Souper outlasted 5-2 second choice K. C. Chief while covering the mile-and-one-sixteenth in 1:41.23 against seven 3-year-olds and older on the synthetic main track.

Florida-bred Charlie's Wish Comes From Off the Pace to Win Ginger Punch

Charlie’s Wish advanced four-wide on the second turn and shot to the lead at the top of the stretch to win the $94,000 Ginger Punch going away at Gulfstream Park Saturday. The 4-year-old Florida-bred daughter of Double Diamond Farm stallion First Dude won in her first try on synthetic after the mile-and-a-sixteenth Ginger Punch was taken off the turf.

Reef Runner Rallies to Top Florida-bred Trifecta in Bob Umphrey Turf Sprint

FLORIDA-BREDS FINISH 1-2-3

Florida-bred Reef Runner executed his patented late kick in the stretch to win the $95,000 Bob Umphrey Turf Sprint by two-and-a-half lengths ahead of runner-up Takecareofbusiness in second with Oh Darlin third to complete a Florida-bred trifecta. Moved off the grass to the synthetic course, the Bob Umphrey Turf Sprint featured six 3-year-olds and older going five furlongs.
