Facing colts and geldings for the first time, Florida-bred Lennilu was up to the task with authority producing a two-and-three-quarters-lengths victory in the $75,000 Leinster Hollywood Beach Stakes at Gulfstream Park Saturday.

Coming off a disappointing disqualification from victory in the Grade 3 Green Flash at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club on Aug. 30, Alex and JoAnn Lieblong's homebred Reef Runner avenged that misfortune with come-from-behind victory in the $200,000 Eddie D Stakes (Grade 2) at Santa Anita Saturday.

C Z Rocket Wins Fifth Straight With Santa Anita Sprint Championship Victory

SEPTEMBER 27, 2020-Claimed for $40,000 by trainer Peter Miller for Tom Kagele at Oaklawn Park four months earlier, Florida-bred C Z Rocket won his second consecutive graded stakes and fifth straight race overall with a head victory in the $196,000 Santa Anita Sprint Championship.
