Gary Koch and Gary Fenton's Little Red Feather Racing will be represented Saturday at Del Mar by Florida-bred South Bay in the $100,000 Del Mar Juvenile Fillies Turf.

The catalogue for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's 2025 October Yearling Sale is now available via the OBS website. The two-day sale is set for Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 7-8. Supplemental entries will be accepted until Sept. 28.

Does an emphasis on foal numbers put the cart before the horse? The real industry horsepower may not be foal crops-it's racehorse ownership. Limited ownership constrains demand, and therefore long-run supply and prices, of young horses.
