Statement from

FTBOA President Valerie Dailey

on

CS/CS/HB 881

Passing the Florida House

"The Florida House passed CS/CS/HB 881 last night that would allow for the immediate decoupling of live Thoroughbred racing in our state. We thank the 34 House members who stood with Florida's Thoroughbred industry and voted 'No.' The fight continues. Its companion bill, SB 1564, has not moved in the Senate and we are working to ensure it stays that way. The FTBOA remains united with our industry partners and stakeholders in opposition to decoupling."
