Florida-bred Mythical Produces Storied Victory in Tremont at Saratoga Race Course

First Filly to Win the Tremont Since Florida-bred Rosie O'Greta in 1995

Arindel homebred Mythical became the first filly since Florida-bred Rosie O'Greta in 1995 to win the Tremont (Listed) at Saratoga Race Course with a resounding victory against her male counterparts in the $145,000 contest on Thursday.

Florida-bred Dorth Vader, who was a courageous fourth after a disastrous trip in the Grade 1 Fasig-Tipton La Troienne at Churchill Downs on May 2, looks for better luck when she tries her second Grade 1 this year in the $500,000 Ogden Phipps at Saratoga Race Course Friday.

Sophia's Storm Takes Red Berry Overnight Stakes at Assiniboia Downs

Claimed three times over the winter at Tampa Bay Downs, Florida-bred Sophia's Storm is now undefeated in two starts at Assiniboia Downs with her two-and-three-quarters-length victory in the US$18,181 Red Berrry overnight stakes Wednesday night.
