Florida-breds R Disaster and All Class, first and second-place finishers respectively in a $100,000 optional claiming at Saratoga Race Course in their last race on Aug. 20, meet again Saturday in the $250,000 Gallant Bloom (Grade 2) during the Belmont at Big A meet at Aqueduct Race Track.

Coming off a disappointing disqualification from victory in the Grade 3 Green Flash at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club on Aug. 30, Alex and JoAnn Lieblong's homebred Reef Runner returns to action with purpose Saturday in the $200,000 Eddie D Stakes (Grade 2) at Santa Anita.

LEXINGTON, KY-Fasig-Tipton has catalogued 1,601 entries for its Kentucky October Yearlings Sale, to be held on Oct. 20-23, in Lexington, Ky. The four continuous sessions, conducted on Monday-Thursday, will begin each day at 10 am. ET.

HISA Announces New Findings on Exercise-Associated Sudden Death

LEXINGTON, KY- The Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority today announced the key findings from one of two pilot programs it commissioned in August 2024 in connection with an Exercise-Associated Sudden Death Working Group launched in October 2023.
