Spirited Boss Ventures West to Take Monrovia Stakes on Santa Anita Downhill Turf

ARCADIA, CA-Spirited Boss made it a successful raiding party for trainer Jose D'Angelo Saturday when rallying from last to win the Grade 3, $100,500 Monrovia Stakes presented by Ketel One at Santa Anita Park.

Freirich Donates Derby Experience Auction Package for Thoroughbred Charities and Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance

LEXINGTON, KY-To help raise awareness and funds for Thoroughbred aftercare, Ken Freirich, racehorse owner and philanthropist, has generously donated an exclusive Kentucky Derby presented by Woodford Reserve and Kentucky Oaks package to benefit Thoroughbred Charities of America and the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance.

Jockey Leonel Reyes, out since suffering a fractured ankle in a Nov. 2 spill, is set to make his return. Sitting at 997 North American wins, Reyes is named on one horse at Gulfstream Park Thursday.

Chad Brown


Trainer Chad Brown is approaching a personal milestone of 3,000 career wins in North America. Through racing on April 6, he was at 2,998 wins. Thursday, Brown has two horses entered to run at Aqueduct and three horses entered to run at Keeneland.
