Bring Theband Home Remains Undefeated at Saratoga with Trouncing of Troy

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY-Live Oak Plantation's Florida-homebred Bring Theband Home improved his local record to four-for-four when making the grade in Sunday's $300,000 Troy (Grade 2), a five-and-a-half-furlong Mellon turf sprint for 3-year-olds and up at Saratoga Race Course.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY-Arindel's Florida homebred Mythical, the last-out winner of the Listed Tremont versus males here, validated that performance with an impressive win versus her own kind in Sunday's $175,000 Adirondack (Grade 3), a six-and-a-half-furlong sprint for juvenile fillies at Saratoga Race Course.

Florida-breds Increase Superiority Among Regional Thoroughbred Markets with 49 Open Stakes Wins in 2025

15 Graded Stakes Wins Produced by Florida-breds During the Year

OCALA, FL-Florida-bred Thoroughbreds continue their domination among other regional Thoroughbred producers at racetracks throughout North America with 49 wins in unrestricted black type stakes races, including 15 graded stakes victories in 2025 through Aug 3.

TOBA Announces State Breeders of the Year and National Broodmare of the Year

LEXINGTON, KY-The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association announced the state breeders of the year, National Broodmare of the Year, Claiming Crown Horse of the Year and Rood & Riddle Sport Horse of the Year for the 40th anniversary of the TOBA National Awards.

Florida-bred Filly Drops Gavel at $375,000 at Saratoga Sale of Selected Yearlings

A Florida-bred filly by Triple Crown-winner Justify sold for $375,000 to Leonard Green's DJ Stable Monday during the first session of the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale of Selected Yearlings. The bay filly was one of 77 yearlings and the only Florida-bred to pass before the auctioneers Monday.

Reef Runner Returns a Winner in Warrior's Pride Overnight Handicap

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL-Alex and JoAnn Lieblong's 4-year-old stakes-winning homebred Reef Runner, back as a new gelding in his first race since May 1, split horses turning for home and steadily gained ground through the lane to take the lead in deep stretch and register a decisive victory in Sunday's $70,000 Warrior's Pride overnight handicap at Gulfstream Park.
