Second Straight Oaklawn Stakes for G W's Girl in Dixie Belle

Mag Racing LLC's G W's Girl continued her affinity for the dirt, winning her second consecutive stakes at Oaklawn Park with a commanding victory in the $150,000 Dixie Belle against seven other 3-year-old fillies going six furlongs Monday. Trained by Greg Compton and ridden by Francisco Arrieta, G W’S Girl had taken the $150,000 Mockingbird at the Hot Springs, Ark., oval on Jan. 4 in her first start on the main track.

The Association set up a Florida Thoroughbred history display and information table for 4-H youth, Future Farmer of America participants, students of all ages and the general public.
