Second Straight Oaklawn Stakes for G W's Girl in Dixie Belle

Mag Racing LLC's G W's Girl continued her affinity for the dirt, winning her second consecutive stakes at Oaklawn Park with a commanding victory in the $150,000 Dixie Belle against seven other 3-year-old fillies going six furlongs Monday. Trained by Greg Compton and ridden by Francisco Arrieta, G W’S Girl had taken the $150,000 Mockingbird at the Hot Springs, Ark., oval on Jan. 4 in her first start on the main track.

The Florida Thoroughbred Breeders' and Owners' Association is participating in the Southeastern Youth Fair in Marion County, Fla., which kicked off Feb. 22. The Association set up a Florida Thoroughbred history display and information table for 4-H youth, Future Farmer of America participants, students of all ages and the general public.
