Florida-bred Hola Joey Wins First Stakes in Golden Circle at Prairie Meadows

Joe D. Casey's Florida-bred sophomore Hola Joey earned his stakes-winning credentials Saturday night at Prairie Meadows with an emphatic length-and-three-quarters victory in the $50,000 Golden Circle with jockey Tyler Bacon aboard.

Florida-bred Vekoma Colt Brings $250,000 in Early Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Action

A Florida-bred colt from the family of 2009 Kentucky Derby presented by Yum! Brands (Grade 1)-winner Mine That Bird sold for $250,000 in early action at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic May Sale of 2-year-olds in training Tuesday.

LEXINGTON, KY-The Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority today announced the publication of its 2025 First Quarter Metrics Report. This report provides a detailed analysis of key performance indicators related to the safety and integrity of Thoroughbred racing in the United States.
