Zee R One Debuts Among Eight Juveniles in Keeneland Maiden Special Weight

In to Win Racing and McEntee Racing's Florida-bred Zee R One will line up among eight 2-year-olds making their first career starts in a four-and-a-half-furlong maiden special weight at Keeneland Thursday.

Congratulations to FTBOA member Kristine Gibbons of Morriston on being named the TOBA Member of the Month. Gibbons, in the name of her Wind Hill Farm, bred Grade 3 Holy Bull-winner and Kentucky Derby presented by Woodford Reserve (G1)-contender Nearly.

Intestinal infections can be deadly for young foals, especially in the first days and weeks of life. A clean environment, good care and monitoring, and being proactive to head off or deal with any problems are very important.

UF College of Veterinary Medicine to Host Annual Open House on April 11

GAINESVILLE, FL- The University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine will host its popular annual Open House event this year from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 11, promising a full day of fun, educational demonstrations, tours and more.

Jockey Leonel Reyes, out since suffering a fractured ankle in a Nov. 2 spill, is set to make his return. Sitting at 997 North American wins, Reyes is named on one horse at Gulfstream Park Thursday.

Chad Brown


Trainer Chad Brown is approaching a personal milestone of 3,000 career wins in North America. Through racing on April 8, he was at 2,998 wins. Thursday, Brown has two horses entered to run at Aqueduct and three horses entered to run at Keeneland.
