Florida-bred Spirit Wind Heads to Charles Town as Even Money Favorite for Misty Bennett Pink Ribbon

Fresh off a victory in the Grade 2 Honorable Miss Handicap at Saratoga, Florida-bred Spirit Wind travels to Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Friday night for the $500,000 Misty Bennett Pink Ribbon for fillies and mares at seven furlongs. The 5-year-old daughter of Double Diamond Farm stallion Bahamian Squall has been labeled as the even money program favorite in the field of eight as she races at her fifth different track in as many starts this year.

Mensa Favored to Win Second Stakes in Soaring Free

Mensa still cards in as the 2-1 favorite for Friday’s rescheduled CA$150,000 bet365 Soaring Free at Woodbine as the Florida-bred colt looks for his second consecutive added-money victory in his first attempt on turf. Trained by Mark Casse for Resolute Racing, Mensa will be among nine 2-year-olds who will go six-and-a-half furlongs on the grass.

Casse Tries to Upset in Rescheduled Bold Venture with Florida-bred Capture the Lion
