Florida HBPA and Gulfstream Park Announce Three-Year Agreement

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL-Florida Horsemen's Benevolent and Protective Assoc and Gulfstream Park Racing Assoc today announced a comprehensive, three-year agreement designed to provide stability to horsemen and women and a sustainable path for live thoroughbred racing in South Florida through Dec. 31, 2028.

Florida Sire Stakes Veteran Squire Returns to Turf in Dania Beach Stakes

Amy E. Dunne and trainer Patrick Biancone's Squire returns to the grass to begin his 3-year-old campaign in Thursday's $175,000 Dania Beach, scheduled for one mile on the turf at Gulfstream Park.

Florida-bred El Potente Among 19 Invited to Pegasus World Cup Turf

Florida-bred graded stakes-winner El Potente is among a group of 19 thoroughbreds on the initial list of invitations to the $1 million Pegasus World Cup Turf (Grade 1), a mile-and-one-eighth test for 4-year-olds and older to be run Jan. 24 at Gulfstream Park.
