Board Member Spotlight - Joseph M. O'Farrell, III

A native of Ocala, Fla., Joseph M. O'Farrell, III currently serves on the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders' Association board as treasurer. His passion for Thoroughbreds comes from growing up on the family farm, Ocala Stud. In his early years, O'Farrell worked on the farm mowing fields and feeding and caring for the farm's yearlings.

Florida-bred Sister Otoole Brings $190,000 Through Fasig-Tipton February Digital Sale

Two Florida-breds brought six-figure prices through the Fasig-Tipton February Digital Sale that closed Tuesday night including multiple stakes-winner Sister Otoole, who sold for $190,000 as a broodmare prospect to Willow Park Stud Scone.

T.I.P. Announces 2024 Shows and Championships

LEXINGTON, KY-The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.) today announced that it has approved more than 7,500 awards and classes at more than 1,500 shows in 42 states and six Canadian provinces for 2024.
