After some 48 years in Florida’s Thoroughbred industry, Brent Fernung has experienced the business of breeding, buying, selling, and standing Thoroughbreds from the hooves up. Decades before he opened Journeyman Stud with wife Crystal and became president of the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders’ and Owners’ Association (20xx – 20xx), Fernung started on the end of a lead shank in the 1970s.
