Florida-bred Tank Looks to Resume Winning Ways in Hall of Fame Stakes at Saratoga Friday

A winner of the three consecutive turf stakes in Florida before finishing fourth last out in the Grade 1 Belmont Derby Invitational on the Saratoga Race Course grass, Florida-bred Tank remains at the Spa for Friday's $400,000 National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame (G3) for 3-year-olds going a mile on the inner turf.

Divine Secrets, a half-sister to stakes-winning Florida-bred Happy Farm, makes her debut in a maiden special weight for 2-year-old fillies at Gulfstream Park Friday.

Maritime Traveler, Last Living Horse by Secretariat Dies at Bridlewood Farm

Maritime Traveler, the last living horse by Secretariat, died peacefully Sunday, July 27 at the age of 35 at Bridlewood Farm in Ocala, Florida according to several reports.

The Jockey Club Announces the Election of Everett R. Dobson as Chair

The board of stewards of The Jockey Club announced today the election of Everett R. Dobson as chair. Dobson succeeds Stuart S. Janney III, who had served as chair of The Jockey Club since Aug. 8, 2015.
