Florida-bred Dancing N Dixie Again Faces Buchu, Way to Be Marie in Regret

Dancing N Dixie will meet familiar rivals Buchu and Way to Be Marie when the Florida-bred filly goes in the Grade 3 Regret at Churchill Downs Saturday. Ten 3-year-old fillies will race a mile-and-an-eighth on the turf in pursuit of the winner's share of the $250,000 purse.

Contagious Equine Metritis Confirmed in Orange County

EDITED EDCC PRESS RELEASE


On May 23, 2024, the National Veterinary Services Laboratories in Ames, Iowa, reported confirmation by bacterial culture a positive case of Taylorella equigenitalis, the causative agent of contagious equine metritis (CEM), in an 11-year-old domestic pony mare in Orange County in Florida.
