Led by Glassman Racing LLC’s Arthur’s Ride in the $7 million Longines Breeders’ Cup Classic (Grade 1), five Florida-breds are among the 212 Thoroughbreds from around the world entered for the 2024 Breeders’ Cup World Championships. The 41st running of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships, with purses and awards totaling more than $34 million, will be held Nov. 1-2 at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club.

Coming off a disappointing effort in the $1.5 million Dueling Grounds Oaks at Kentucky Downs in her last race, Florida-bred Dancing N Dixie returns to a more favorable Keeneland Race Course for the Grade 2 Bank of America Valley View Friday. An overflow field of 12 fillies and mares, plus four on the also-eligible list, have entered the $350,000 Valley View set for one mile on the turf.

The OBSOnline October sale features yearlings who were either unsold or scratched from the 2024 October Yearling Sale, which was impacted by Hurricane Milton.
