Average Prices Increase Again Wednesday with Jackie's Warrior Colt Best Seller

Ocala Breeders' Sales Company concluded a successful October Yearling Sale with another strong session Wednesday-the second day of the two-day auction. Wednesday figures reflect 143 yearlings averaging $25,113, a 20.8% increase compared to the $20,781 average on 193 yearlings sold on the second day last year.

Otago Seeks Second Stakes Victory of the Year in Artie Schiller Stakes

Florida-bred Otago, a winner of the $104,000 Cliff Hanger Stakes at Monmouth Park in May, goes for his second black-type victory of 2025 Saturday when he faces six other 3-year-olds and older going a mile on the turf in the $150,000 Artie Schiller during the Belmont at Big A meet at Aqueduct Racetrack.

$400 Breeders' Cup Foal Nomination Closes Oct. 15

Nomination Entitles Each Foal with Lifetime Eligibility to the Breeders' Cup World Championships and Breeders' Cup Racing Programs


LEXINGTON, KY―Breeders' Cup Limited issued a reminder today that Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 11:59 p.m. ET is the final deadline to nominate foals born in 2025 to the Breeders' Cup program at the one-time nomination fee of $400.
