The year is 1965:   Wisconsin and Nicaragua are paired for several reasons, one being economies heavily dependent on agricultural production.  Wisconsin joins 20 other partnerships as charter members of the Partners of the Alliance and receive status as a non-profit, non-governmental agency.


2018  This week is  Farm Technology Days the largest agricultural show in  Wisconsin  and one of the largest in the nation. The three- day  outdoor event in Marshfield, WI showcases the latest improvements in production agriculture, including many practical applications of recent research findings and technological developments.   Stop out at the Family Living Tent, Beverage Tent #5 or Food Tent #3 where you will find W/NP Volunteers helping out and sharing information about activities between Wisconsin and Nicaragua.

After 45 years working at Sentry Ins, Betty (W/NP VP) retired and donated her retirement gifts to do something special in honor of her mom, Theresa. Thanks to Betty's donation, Patty's help and many students in Wisconsin who have made books, the library at the Niño Jesus de Praga school and Learning Center (EST. 1983) is being transformed and opening up new learning opportunities for youth of all ages.  More pics CLICK HERE
