2017-2019 State Budget Bill Stalled
The Wisconsin Legislature's Joint Committee on Finance (JCF) has not concluded its work on the 2017-2019 state budget proposal.  As leadership in both houses continue to discuss budget concerns over transportation, education, and other funding issues, it has been over a month since the JCF's last budget session and the Committee is not scheduled to meet this week.  The 2017-2019 budget period began July 1, but as no budget proposal has been signed into law, spending continues at current levels.
