WCC Opposes Pharmacist Prescribing Contraception Bill
On August 14, the WCC
testified
in opposition to
Assembly Bill 304
, which allows pharmacists to prescribe certain hormonal contraceptives, on the grounds that it could negatively impact women's health, alter established medical standards, and impact the individual conscience rights of pharmacists. The bill has not advanced.
